Page 149 - reach for the sky, meaning that you should aim high for what you want? If you don't try you don't succeed, and seemingly impossible may be obtained! In career, personal life and life in general! Sad day today as my aunt's funeral, but she was 96 so had a good life! Up side to it all, met up again with cousins I hadn't seen for years! So maybe I should "reach for the sky" by making the effort to stay in touch!

Brilliant journalling Kath.
It is a sad fact that families can get so caught up in themselves they forget about the 'extended' family so to speak. My family are the same and forget to stay in touch, i have actually made that one of my goals this year, to make more of an effort.......i have failed so far though:(

Good photo Kath, great journalling to, if we dont try to exceed our expectations in life, we tend to stay in a rut. I am in the same club, we dont communicate with distance relatives either, cousins etc....perhaps when I begin the family tree that will prompt me to get in touch!
Lovely words and I love that tall bird - wish I had legs like that.
It will be great if you do keep in touch. Often a death in the family brings other members together who then remain in touch with each other.
Families are strange aren't thy - i always mean to keep in touch more but rarely get round to it. Hope you do better than I do :)
