This ornament is ivory, bought in the early 50's in Hong Kong, and the monkeys are sitting on a little ebony plinth. More memories for me as this was my parents.

Black and white, so clear cut, but not! Great fashion colours, very striking. Black associated with evil, and white with pure. Black for mourning in some counries, but white in others. So many thoughts!
